It is also known as "Teleto" (テレ東, Teretō?), as it is "terebi" and "Tokyo" put together. It is the key station of TXN (TX Network). Morning Musume was born on the TV station. Its main owner is Nihon Keizai Shimbun. TV Tokyo is currently the smallest of the major Tokyo TV networks, and is known for its specialization in anime.
